Jean and I purchased a 150 gallon aquarium. We started the project by removing an existing walk-in closet in our living room. You can see the start of a 2" x 6" ... Theframefortheaquariumiscomplete. TheAquariumweighs 1,800poundswhenfullofwater. Webracedthefloorjoistsinthecrawlspaceundertheaquariumwith floorjacks.          Thisphotoshowsthe2"x6" framewithapieceofplywoodontopfortheaquariumtositon. Thelowerleft-handsidewillholdtheplumbingandCO2injection fortheaquarium.Itwillnotbevisiblefromthelivingroom. Thelowerright-handsidewillbevisiblefromthelivingroomand willholdtheentertainmentcenter.          Thisistheresult.  Jeandesigned andbuilttheexterior. Sheusedbirchplywood. Ithink thefalsepanelonthelowerleftwasaniceidea;theaquarium plumbingandCO2systemareontheother(closet)side. Thetop panelabovetheaquariumishingedtoallowaccessfromthefront, butmostofthemaintenanceisdonefromtheclosetside.                    Hereisapairof BolivianRamsguardingtheirbabiesinthenewaquarium.
