Insteadoftheserious,bleak,anddepressingatmospherethatrecentSouthKoreanpoliceordetectiveseriessuchas"Signal"or"SecretForest","Live"isveryrefreshing,heart-warming,andrealistic.Justasthetitleshowsus,thisseriesdoesnotheavilyfocusonpolicecorruptionorthepoliceforce'slong,troubledhistoryofmisconducttowardthecommunityitexiststoserve.Instead,itpaintsavivid,detailedpictureofthepolice'sdailystrugglesandhowtheyovercomethoseday-to-daydifficultiestofulfilltheirmissionsandsomehowmaketheirliveslessmiserable.Thesecopshavetolivetheirlivesright,sotheycanhelpothersliveright.Again,thisshowdoescontainveryoptimisticunderlyingmessages.Itisrelatable,especiallyforpeoplewhoareintheir20s,30s,and40s.
