On29September2005,HNAGroupordered42Boeing787-8s,10ofwhichwereearmarkedfortheHainanAirlinesfleet.InJanuary2006,ChinaAviationSuppliesImportandExportGroupCorporationordered10Boeing737-800sforHainanAirlines.InSeptember2006,HainanAirlinesorderedanother15Boeing737-800s. On4December2007,HainanAirlinesacquiredthreeAirbusA340-600sonleasefromInternationalLeaseFinanceCorporation.On14November2007,HainanAirlinesreceiveditsfirstAirbusA330-200.InJune2007,HainanAirlinesordered13AirbusA320-200aircraft.Inlate2007,HainanAirlinesordered50EmbraerERJ-145sand50Embraer190s,withatotalvalue(atlistprice)ofUS$2.7billion.The50-seatERJ-145swereproducedbytheHarbinEmbraerAircraftIndustry(HEAI)jointventure,locatedinHarbin.E-190deliveriesbeganinDecember2007.Duetotheglobalfinancialcrisisandhugelossesincurredin2008,theERJ-145orderwasreducedto25.TheE-190orderremainedunchanged.
