大雄設計企圖藉由現代的建築語彙，傳達祖厝的情感，並將房子和環境作更好的結合。

設計師讓每個房間都有面海的大面落地窗戶，迎風面有退縮的陽台，提供建築在多雨的漁村有多一層的保護。

在公共空間中，保留了原有的配置，利用深淺分割的實木線條，呼應舊有木造建築的空間氛圍。

在2樓以上的樓層，則創造了一個面對中央的天井，讓2樓和3樓共享同一個挑高空間。

在天井之外，延伸出室內的露臺，層層疊疊的平台，呼應著漁村山城中錯落的美感。

樓梯間的框景一路往下延伸至漁港，希望祖厝內的景象，不只是平面的框景，也像是一幅動態的空間。

主要建材：山形磚、洗石子、橡木、實木杉木、花崗石、進口磁磚。
