PERS-952:LineofDutyHealthcare(LOD-HC) TheLOD-HCprogramauthorizesmedicaland/ordentalcareforreservistswhoincuroraggravateaninjury,illnessordiseaseinthelineofduty. Ifauthorized,membersmayreceivemedicalbenefitsforanapprovedconditionuntilamilitaryphysicianfindsmemberfitfordutywithnoadditionalfollow-uprequired,oruntilfinaldispositionisdeterminedbythePhysicalEvaluationBoard(PEB). MembersonanapprovedLOD-HCmayalsobeeligibleforincapacitationpay. ReferenceSECNAVINST1770.5(series). PERS-952:LineofDutyBenefitsforDisabilityEvaluationSystem(LOD-BforDES) TheLOD-BforDESprogramprovidesapathforevaluationandpotentialentryintotheDESforqualifyingSailorswithmedicalconditionsthatdonotfittheguidelinesforLOD-HCbenefitsinaccordancewithSECNAVINST1770.5.BenefitsavailabletoeligibleSailorsmayincludemedicalevaluation,travelandtransportationallowance,separationpay,ordisabilityretirement.LOD-BforDESdoesnotincludebenefitsforhealthcaretreatment. PERS-953:MedicalRetentionReview(MRR) AnMRRpackageissubmittedtoBUMEDforreservistswhodevelop,orhaveamaterialchangein,apotentiallydisqualifyingmedicalconditionthatisnotexpectedtoresolvewithin180daysandislikelytopreventmemberfromsafely/effectivelyfulfillingtheresponsibilitiesoftheirgrade/designator/ratingorinterferewithmobilization. PERS-953adjudicatesMRRpackagesbasedonBUMEDrecommendations,assignsPhysicalRiskClassification(PRC)codesandpreparemessagesforrelease. ReferenceMILPERSMAN6110-020andRESPERSMAN6000-010.  PERS954:TemporaryDisabilityRetirementList(TDRL)&PermanentDisabilityRetiredList(PDRL) ProcessesresultsofthePhysicalEvaluationBoard's(PEB)NotificationofDecision,andproducesorderstodischargemembersfromActiveorReserveComponenttoeithertheTemporary(TDRL)orPermanent(PDRL)DisabilityRetirementListforeventualprocessingbylocalcommandPersonnelSupportDetachments(PSD)orNavyOperationalSupportCommand(NOSC). TDRLisaprogramdesignedtoenablealleligiblememberswitharateddisabilitytheopportunitytoreceiveretirementbenefits,whichincludemedicalcoverageformembersanddependents,andamonthlystipenduntilmedicalconditionscanbecomestabilizedorcorrected. TDRLisalsoresponsiblefortheprocessingofallordersdirectingdisabilityratedservicememberstoundergoPeriodicPhysicalMedicalExaminations,andtheirresultingtravelreimbursements.PDRLisaprogramdesignedtoprovidepermanentdisabilitybenefitstomembersofthemilitarywithservice-connecteddisabilities. MedicalDepartmentRepresentatives(MDRs)canobtaintheformsanddocumentsrequiredforLOD-HCandMRRrequestsfromMedicalReadinessandReportingSystem(MRRS). CommandsrequiringMEDHOLDrequestproceduresshouldcontactPERS-951atthee-mailbelow. LOD-HCrelatedrequestsmustbesubmittedbytheNOSC/SquadronviaRCC/WingtotheappropriateLOD-HCinboxlistedbelow. MRRrequestsmustbesubmittedinWEBWAVE.
