遇到需要委婉拒絕的情境，你會怎麼表達呢？如果直接說「No!」可就太傷感情啦，一起學習怎麼說最恰當！ 情境對話： 前幾天Lizzy帶了一盒蛋糕要請大家吃，她走到John老師面前問他： Doyouwantsomecake?（你想來點蛋糕嗎？） John老師回答說： I’mokay.Thankyou. 聽完之後，Lizzy有點愣住了，不知道該如何行動，考考大家，請問John老師到底是要吃蛋糕還是不吃蛋糕呢？ 破解NG英文： 你答對了嗎？其實John老師因為在減肥，最近不吃澱粉，他說的話是表達「不要吃」喔！什麼？不是說I’mokay.嗎？怎麼會是不要吃呢？ 台灣人說英文時常常會因為不知道怎麼樣表達，不小心說出很直接又有點無禮的英文。

例如遇到上面這種情境時，想要拒絕別人的好意，可能會直接說： No,Idon’twanttoeatcake.（不，我不想吃蛋糕。

） 雖然這種說法文法上沒有錯，但聽起來可能就不那麼順耳，也比較沒那麼委婉、有禮貌。

如果想要有禮貌一點，就可以像John老師說： I’mokay.Thankyou.（沒關係。

謝謝。

） 就像說中文時，我們要拒絕別人的好意，也不會直接說「不要、我不想要」，會用「沒關係」這種比較委婉的說法拒絕。

除了John老師的說法，也可以簡單說： I’mgood. I’mfine. 這兩句都是比達「我沒關係，我不吃」的意思。

想要更有禮貌或更清楚表達，也可以這樣表達： I’mfine.Thanks. I’mgood.Thankyou. No,thanks.I’mfine. No,thanks.I’mgood.
